      • A fair rate for you and your clients

You do a wonderful job serving your customers, so you should be compensated fairly with a truck rate per mile and per cargo. You only need to worry about driving, and the rest will be taken care of by our nationwide search for cargoes. This results in a reliable source of income for your company. You can expand and grow your business while pursuing the chances you require and cultivating enduring bonds with crucial customers.

      • Professional terms are negotiated

The ideal relationship between truckers and clients is shaped by a variety of elements. In addition to the price, there are other terms and conditions that need to be clarified and accepted. This is where our negotiation skills come into play, and it involves much more than just setting a truck driver pay rate. While assisting your clients in achieving their goals, you will benefit from chances and terms that suit you.

In that case, we can offer a customised service to assist you in exceeding your objectives.

Why Negotiating Freight Rates Is Very Crucial

Why are negotiations over freight rates so crucial? Why is it necessary for you to contact the top rate negotiating services in the market? There are several things to think about in this situation. Let's look at a few of the most important for you and your company.

Ensure drivers receive fair truck rates

The backbone of the American economy is its truck drivers. By keeping this nation moving and its businesses growing, you contribute to maintaining a healthy domestic economy. This means that you are entitled to a just truck driver wage.

Regardless of whether you run your truck driving business on an hourly basis or on an average rate per mile basis, your pay rate must be sufficient to support both you as a business owner and as an individual. Your objectives likely include providing outstanding results for customers. Truck drivers like you have a challenging and taxing job to complete. This is guaranteed by talks over freight rates.

      Encourage industrywide safety and security

There is a reason why the trucking sector is regulated. When they are driving, truck drivers have a right to feel secure and protected. Customers have a right to believe that the logistics drivers and couriers serving them are trustworthy. Other drivers have the freedom to travel without worrying about dangers and risks along the route.

Everyone is at risk if customers make lowball bids to drivers and if truck drivers themselves undercut their fellow professionals by providing subpar services. By negotiating prices for drivers, we make sure that everyone receives a fair deal and is protected.

Choose the appropriate truck driver pay rate to be competitive in your industry.

The field of logistics is competitive. There are numerous different drivers and service providers competing for a little market share. This makes it essential that your company is competitive and that its prices match the wants and needs of the market.

This does not imply that you will lose money. Also, it does not imply providing the lowest prices feasible; this is covered in more detail below. Instead, it entails offering excellent services at a price that is competitive and allows you to increase your market share while obtaining full and equitable compensation for the services you provide.

Develop your driving reputation and identity.

Your customers are not only looking for the cheapest choice available. Consumers require assurance that the driver and service provider they are working with are reliable. Customers must be confident that they can count on you to deliver their cargo safely, on schedule, and in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Make this high standard of excellence a part of your name and reputation. Add in this identity during rate negotiations so that your clients may clearly understand the kind of value you provide. These fee negotiation services will become even more crucial as your reputation and business expand over time.

Increase your services by adding consulting fees

On the surface, negotiating freight rates may appear to be rather straightforward. As the truck driver, you have a truck and either an hourly rate or an average rate per mile. The type of cargo being transported is another factor, along with any additional worries or things to think about. You can include these factors in your negotiations.

Yet, there is more to logistics and freight than this. Customers might consult you if they want your professional opinion on shipping and other logistics-related topics. The negotiation of consultation fees can increase your company's revenue and establish you as an industry authority.

      FAQ

Simply put, we buy you time to increase your earnings. The majority of owner-operators enter this industry with the intention of hauling loads and making money, only to become mired in paperwork, regulations, and agreements that prevent them from doing what they should be doing to make money. SPEED TRUCKING helps your business run smoothly so you may take on more loads by handling all the business support tasks you'd like to delegate. Also, when it comes to negotiating, our goal is to secure the greatest prices for your cargoes so that you can increase your income.

Surprisingly, no. If you want to recruit capable and competent talent, you need to develop and undergo a pretty vigorous recruitment process, which takes time and — if you need the services of headhunters — money. Even if you find what you are looking for, you will most likely need to provide office space — yet another expenditure — and in some cases, further training. Meanwhile, as many of our clients have admitted, hiring SPEED TRUCKING turns out to be more cost-effective than even having one full-time dispatcher. Our industry expertise, networks, and experience make us the best at what we do.

Nope. You hire SPEED TRUCKING on a month-to-month basis. We don't make trucker drivers commit long-term upfront because we believe in earning your business. If you aren't happy, we aren't happy, so we'll work hard for you. But we also believe that all business owners should have the freedom to work with whomever they want. It's important for us to keep that freedom for you.

Signing up with SPEED TRUCKING is a breeze since you can submit documents to us online.

      - First, you sign our Dispatch Carrier Agreement, a document that clearly sets out our responsibilities and our responsibilities. This is meant to protect both of us — it is not a long-term service contract by any means. Our services are month-to-month, and you are not penalized for discontinuing our service.

      - You will also need insurance that names SPEED TRUCKING as the certificate holder. This is common industry practice for shippers, dispatchers, and brokers — it just allows us to conduct business at your behest and on your behalf when you want us to. Make sure the insurance sets out liability as well as cargo coverage.

      - We also need the Carrier Set-Up Package and references for the shippers and brokers we work with and for our records. Your MC Permit and signed W9 form should be here as well.

      - At SPEED TRUCKING, we keep impeccable and accurate records — and always maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and industry requirements — so we also need a copy of the CDL for each driver we will be dispatching.

That’s because SPEED TRUCKING doesn’t charge a monthly fee for “subscription”. We charge from 8% to 10% of our client’s gross revenue. That means our income fully depends on our client’s success. The more they earn, the more we earn.

We offer truck dispatching, billing, paperwork, rate negotiating, IFTA reporting, accounting, and other services to our clients. A comprehensive service package or a number of the goods you require for your organisation are also options.
